learn about a makeup routine completely customized to you in IIID foundation for beginners.
Welcome to Seint and IIID Foundation. IIID is different compared to the makeup we grew up with, Therefore if you are an IIID Foundation beginner, I will break down a basic makeup routine into bite-sized pieces so you know why, where, and how to use each of the colors like a pro.
A basic IIID Foundation routine consists of the following:
You may be color-matched to more than one highlight, depending on what your beautiful skin looks like. This is the magic and why this makeup is so personalized, and the two colors work together to create your overall foundation.
Highlight provides buildable coverage.
Most women can use multiple main highlight shades.
Seint’s highlights brighten instead of simply covering them, so they have some warmth.
You can mix highlights which is extremely helpful in the summer when your skin can change almost daily.
Your main highlight color will last 2-4 months, depending on your use and if you are matched to one or two.
Step 2 – applying the main highlight
CoLOR CORRECTOR HIGHLIGHT/CAMO HIGHLIGHT for beginners
You may not get color matched to a camo or third highlight color, depending on what you have going on with your skin. Your face is NOT one color, so why put one color all over it?
Fun Facts about color corrector or camo Highlight:
Can you be used as a color corrected for discoloration (think under eyes, redness, melasma)?
Your camo and main highlight color work together to create a natural look and dimensional coverage.
For Example: If your neck is a different color than your face. You can use this second highlight/camo color to help blend your face and neck to provide a natural look.
I may match you to different camo colors depending on your skin or what you are trying to correct. Not everyone will have the same camo highlight.
If you are thinking, how do I know where to put what? I will help you figure that part out!
BRIGHTENER/accent HIGHLIGHT for beginners
Think of this like your concealer in the traditional makeup world. Accordingly, it should add brightness and bring focus to features such as your eyes.
While you are color matched to an accent highlight, feel free to try others to see if you prefer a more subtle or brighter look.
Light colors accentuate fine lines, pores, and wrinkles, therefore consider color-correcting (using your camo color or main highlight) first and then a light layer of accent highlight instead of trying to cover a distraction with only your brightener color.
Feel free to add a touch of your brightener shade to your main highlight if you want a slightly lighter effect.
If you did, you have a full face of makeup done, and while it will take some time to get used to a new routine, you should be able to throw on your face in about five minutes. Yes, you can highlight and contour that fast, and it will look like you spent all morning on your makeup.
That’s a wrap!
